Welcome to Baita Cuz

A historic refuge in Val di Fassa, a perfect place both in winter and in summer.

Baita Cuz, at 2200 meters a.s.l., is located on the inactive volcano Buﬀaure. Around the refuge, only silence, nature and the Dolomites. Easily accessible for everyone: all levels skiers, experienced hikers and families with children.

On your arrival you will ﬁnd a real refuge. From the large terraces you can admire breathtaking 360° views, sip an aperitif or enjoy some typical special dishes. Baita Cuz also oﬀers accommodation, can you imagine the sunsets seen from up here? We are waiting for you! Find out how to reach us.

Sleeping and waking up in the Dolomites is a unique experience. We are surrounded by nature, in a fairytale setting and nothing is more authentic and exciting than sleeping in our refuge. From your window you can admire the colors of Cima 11 and Cima 12, Col Ombert and the Maerins overhangs. Reaching Baita Cuz is easy, you can choose which route to take among diﬀerent ones. You can take the Buﬀaure cableway or choose for a more adventurous route like the famous via ferrata of the "Magniﬁci 4" that runs along the overhangs of the Maerins. Many other ways are waiting for you to discover them!
